What a wonderful feeling knowing I am carrying around my son. It was such an amazing experience seeing him for the first time. Seth and I loved every moment that we got to watch him. We may go back in 4 weeks, since the doctors know I was born with an extra thumb (yes, I was for those of you who don’t know that.) My chances of having a child with an “extra digit” are 1 in 500. We obviously don’t care if he has more fingers then he is supposed to. Hey, I did and I’m just fine. But if they are giving us another one for free-we’ll take it. The sonogram lady was obsessed with checking his fingers and toes. We counted each hand and foot like 5 times and always ended up with 5 each. So, he looks great. Here are a few more pictures.
Look closely: This is him sucking his thumb. We saw him take his cute little thumb and stick it right in his month. (I didn’t want a thumb sucker, but as soon as I saw him do this I was like “he can do whatever he wants.”) He already has his momma wrapped around his finger.
The first one is his foot and the second one is his hand (he is making a fist). Count them…5 each. ![]()

This one is a little hard to see, but this is his face. He is looking right at you.
