Last night Seth and I were enjoying a yummy dinner at Dixie Bones. It is a local BBQ place around here and is voted one of the best restaurant in the Metro area. My cell phone rings and Kate tells me she ran into one of my mid-wives. (The one that actually delivered Victoria) Kate told her how swollen I was and she said she may want to induce me at week 38 or 39. As I was typing this post, my mid-wife just called. She told me ALL the foods I need to avoid…pretty much anything salty or sweet…what does that leave me to eat??? And absolutely no drinks other then water. I just took the last sip of my coffee until after June. (sad, I am going to miss that) Also, she wants me to keep my feet elevated. She said for every 2 hours that I am on them, I need to keep them elevated for 1 hour…how will I ever get anything done and where do I have that kind of time? My next check-up is Tuesday and they will test me then to see if they need to schedule me for an induction. So, we shall see. Baby Nick might be here sooner then we thought! The clock is ticking and Seth and I need to finish so much before he gets here.

Jules! what a tough life. no coffee. only water. feet propped after 2 hours of walking. yet – a great excuse to be pampered?
I know it probably doesn’t feel like that but hey – silver lining, right?
just noticed the picture of Seth in the tree – so cute.

He does look adorable in that tree! But then again I always think he looks adorable.
Time to go put my feet up.
