I can’t believe my actually due date was yesterday, June 18. I can’t even imagine if he was still inside me. Thank God he is here and healthy. Yesterday, was his 2 weeks check-up and he got a great report. He is back up to 7lbs 2oz and 20.25 inches long. He was born at 7lbs 3oz and 20.5 inches long, but when his cone head went away, he was really only 19.5 inches. So, he really grew almost an inch in 2 weeks. They want to see him next week to make sure he passes his birth weight. With only 1oz to go, I think we can handle that.

Abel has been amazing! He is the best baby. I feel so blessed. At the doctors yesterday, he stayed awake and never cried the whole time the doctor was checking him out. He just looked around at everything. Then the last 2 nights he has slept incredible. I feel well rested. And this morning, he is already back down for a nap. He was able to put himself to sleep…I didn’t even have to rock him. I love this baby!
