My best friend, Lindsay, is in labor! She is 37 weeks 6 days pregnant-the same as me when I went into labor with Abel. Her blood pressure spiked and the baby was in a bit of distress, so they started her on pitocin last night at around 10pm. She is following in my footsteps and progressing very slowly. Please pray for her. It is 10am on 7/7/07 (YAY! her baby girl will have a great birthday) and she is only at 1cm. They did just break her water so we are praying that she starts processing faster. Please pray she can deliver vaginally. They are talking about a C-Section if she doesn’t start dilating. (It all sounds way too familiar.)

We are so excited to meet Linny and Glenn’s baby girl!!! My mom, Abel and me are heading to Richmond this afternoon to help welcome this precious baby girl.

Abel is one month today and boy has he grown so much! He is becoming more alert each day.

He’ll hate me for this when he is older, but he had a diaper rash and I was letting his little bum air out and we just couldn’t resist a photo. (This is when he rolled over for the first time)

Since I promised everyone some updated photos of Abel, here you go. (this is especially for Seth’s family since I know they miss him and check the blog for updated photos of him)

Abel Anthony entered our lives!!! And what a JOY he has been. Seth and I can’t stop looking at him. We are always like, “look at that face” or “look what he is doing.”

Which by the way, we have the most advanced baby…drum roll please….at 3.5 weeks, Abel ROLLED OVER!!!! Oh yes, my friends, he did.

Other exciting news…we he had the best night sleep ever last night! I am so proud of him! If every night was like that…I would be in heaven. (Well, at least for the next 3 months.) Our goal is to have him sleeping through the night by 4 months.

I can’t believe how much he has already grown. I’m sure about now he is 9lbs or pushing close to 9lbs. He is an eating machine. As I type this…he is eating. I can’t keep up with his appetite so we have been giving him at least 1 to 2 bottles of formula each day.

We haven’t had time to upload his latest pictures, so hang tight, I will post them soon.
