Carpel Tunnel it is….

Well, my primary doctor said it wasn’t carpel tunnel, but he was wrong. The specialist today ran some different test and I do indeed have carpel tunnel. The good news…at least now we know what it is. It was caused from my sweet Abel. I got so swollen from pregnancy which then prevents the nerves and blood from entering the hand…which leads to carpel tunnel. Hopefully, the wrist band will help it, if not then I will either needs shots or surgery. I’m praying this wrist band works.

Now, on a lighter note, here are some photos from our trip to MASS:

Beautiful Concord, MA…where the famous saying “The British are coming, the British are coming” came from. (Taken by my ever so talented hubby, Seth)

The Nickerson gang…this photo was taken way too late, but we realized we couldn’t leave Boston without a picture of us all together.

Quick Trip to Boston

I have been MIA due to a very short, quick, last minute trip to Boston. A lot of Seth’s relatives were coming into town for a cousin’s graduation party, so we thought it would be great to have everyone meet Abel. Plus, Seth’s family needed to see their precious grandson/nephew again. It was a great time! Too short, but we packed a lot in for 2.5 days. And Abel was a GEM on the plane. He got his “wings” for flying for the first time. Thanks to Heather Karl for reminding me to ask for them. I gave him a little children’s Tylenol and he either ate or slept or pooped on the plane…but never made a peep, except for his loud pooping explosions or his cute little snores. When we walked onto the plane, everyone just gave us that “oh no, there is an infant on the plane” look. I know what it looks like, b/c I have been that person before. But our sweet Abel was the best baby. Thank you, LORD. I prayed many hours for this trip.

It was great seeing everyone in Mass. Hi to all those new folks that read our blog that I never knew.

Pictures of our trip to come…sorry, we just haven’t had the time to download them. We got home really late last night. WHY, WHY, do they chose to close EVERY lane but one down at night? Don’t they know people want to get home and go TO BED!

I do, however, have to leave you with one story of how AMAZING God is and how he choose to show grace to His children. We got off the plane, picked up all our zillion bags and headed on the shuttle to our car. As soon as we got off the shuttle, I realized I do not have my purse. This is the WORST FEELING EVER!….my Prada bag, my cell phone, my checks, credit cards….you all know what a girl keeps in a purse….HER LIFE! The next shuttle pulls up and I tell them I have left my purse, they get on the radio and tell the other shuttle buses. And within minutes, my purse was hand delivered to me. HOW AMAZING IS GOD! There are MILLIONS of people at an airport and no one took my purse. I am so thankful to God that he allowed me to get my purse back.

Oh, and for all those of you dreading to take your infant on a plane…there is one great thing about a screaming baby when standing in line at the airport. You get moved to the front. Thanks to Abel, we got move from probably 100 people back, to being personally taken care of since Abel was screaming his head off in line. Thankfully, his screaming stopped when the plane took off. :)
