I was working on some photos when I came across some photos that were taken of my two boys in the last few weeks. And of course, I had to share them with you.
Seth took a business trip to New Orleans a few weeks ago and when he came back, to my surprise, he had a beard. I kept assuming he was going to shave it and when I ask him when that thing was coming off, he replied, “I’m growing a beard.”
Silence.
Julie no likey beards. I told him he must not want any kisses, because I wasn’t coming near that scratchy beard. He proceeded to try and tell me that every guy needs to grow a beard at least once in his life. I don’t agree. He finally shaved it, but not without taking a few pictures first.
“I don’t know dad, you may want to get rid of that thing. I mean, I think it is pretty cool and hope to have one like that some day, but mom keeps complaining about it and since I am with her all day long I really think you better shave it.”
Now the clean shaved face. THANKS BABY! (These were actually taken before he got that clever idea to grow a beard). How cute are these two just seating on the couch hanging out. They were watching their favorite football team – the Patriots – beating some team, not sure which one it was that time. (I’m really not rubbing it in.)
My son is growing up way too fast. Look how he is just chillin’ with his dad.
This is Abel’s new smile. He smiles real big and then closes his eyes. He knows we think it is funny so he does it all the time now.

What happened to the smile, Abel?
On a different note, my son gets MASSIVE MAN-SIZE ZITS. (I think I have posted about this before). When he gets them they are always in the same recurring spot – the middle of his chin, which ironically is just like his mother. I couldn’t let this massive zit get away without documenting it. You can kind of see it in the above photos, but here it is in all its glory.

Do you know how BAD I wanted to pop that thing? I kept having to tell myself, “No, Julie. You can’t do that. Keep your hands off!” My hands would start to creep up and sometimes even touch it, but I somehow refrained from popping it.
I’m sorry pumpkin did I just hurt your feelings by posting to the world your zit?
Please forgive mom, but I knew no one would believe me if I didn’t show them.
As always, those lips make me melt. (And yes, there is a constant drop of drool always coming off his lip.)
