It’s HERE!
The cork is HERE and installed and looking as GORGEOUS as I had dreamed it would be. We can’t thank GLENN & LINDSAY enough for sacrificing their weekend to help install our floors. Glenn you are amazing! We love you! You are both truly our dear friends.

We still have a little more to do and also the finishing touches, so don’t judge. I knew you all would be bugging for pics, so I couldn’t keep you in suspense. 
Up close…I’m so in love with it.
My hot hubby in his pjs ripping up the old floor…only to discover the hideous flooring that was hiding underneath it. 
How awful and gross is this flooring! I had to wake up every morning for ONE week and look at this. I know, you all feel real sorry for me.
Look closely, there is paint drippings and actually markings for instructions on how to installed the “new” flooring. Lovely, isn’t it.
I can’t end with that picture, so here is a view from the couch.
I’m so grateful for new floors! I have waited so long for them. Thanks babe and Glenn. You two rock!

It is very soft to walk on. I wouldn’t call it cushy, but it is extremely comfortable.

yay!! i have to say i’m shocked it’s shiny! i never expected cork to be…shiny!! or so dark…!
but it looks AH-mazing and i’m forever impressed at all that you both do to your house ON YOUR OWN!! i could NEVER do that!!!

Julie, the floor looks so nice. Wood is so easy to keep clean and always looks wonderful. Enjoy! It is nice to have friends….Especially those gifted and talented ones:)
