I’m here, I’m here!

I know you all were shocked that I was MIA for a whole week! I guess life just got a little crazy. Abel and I took a mini trip to Richmond and then Abel and I got some stomach bug. Nothing serious, but before I knew it the week was over.

I don’t know if you all are prepared for the overload of Easter photos of our sweet guy, but there are just too many ADORABLE ones!

One of my very favorites of him.

I saw these pants and hat in a “Children’s Place” Ad and had to have it. I never buy him clothes because frankly he has way too many, but this one was a must.

Enjoying his Easter eggs.

Wow, Seth and I actually got a picture together by ourselves…shocking, I know.

The VERY proud grandparents.

My crew. (Family pictures are rare. I think this is like only our 5th photo as a family. Sad.)

Trying to get all the kids together for a photo was pretty much a failure. Here is the best I could do….and I call myself a photographer.

My gorgeous niece, Victoria.20080323_069-2

Abel loved digging into his Easter basket, but his favorite was the fake grass that it was stuffed with. We caught him eating it.

20080323_067

Doesn’t this look like an Easter party you would want to be at? ha!

20080323_063

Check out his chicklets…He loves to show off his 4 teeth off.

20080323_057

He outgrew his infant car seat so we had to move him up to the big boy car seat and he loves it. So much more roomy!

See, I told you I had lots of photos to show you. Would you believe I have a ton more, but I didn’t want to overwhelm you.

Hope your Easter was delightful.

New Name & New Look

It was time we gave this blog a face lift. What do you think? Isn’t it so pretty? Thanks to my awesome, super-cool, hot, talented hubby for spending so much of his precious time making this blog look so hip.

You were wondering were I was, weren’t you? After that long time in between posts you probably thought I went off and got bangs. I still haven’t yet, but only because I had a crazy week. I still think I am going to get them.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to update your bookmark (or your memory) to our new location: nicknews.sethnick.com

New look means new name. One more request: if you experience any problems with the new version, let us know in the comments and we’ll try to fix it. Also, we are still making some final tweaks to the site so bear with us.

I have the most adorable Easter photos to show you of our sweet boy, but I need to get my booty in bed because I have a photo shoot bright and early.

More or your favorite Abey Baby (my niece’s name for him) coming soon.

I’ve been thinking about…bangs….

Before you say NO WAY JULIE, give me a chance to explain myself.

The last time I had bangs was 16 years ago…I was 12 years old and I thought they were super cool.

1992 bangs

And no, we really aren’t on the log flume at King’s Dominion Park, we are posing in front of a staged background. We couldn’t possibly have our bangs that intact had we really been on the log flume with water pouring onto us. Look closely, I was a huge fan of the one curl up/one curl down and then add a ton of hairspray. Shame on you for laughing, I know there are a bunch of you reading this that did the same thing.

However, when the early 90′s rolled around they become so uncool. Obviously, I would NOT be getting those bangs again. I better never have those bangs again. If I do, it will be when I am too crazy to know any better!

So, I’m thinking something like this.
bangs

I’ve been thinking about bangs for a few months now, but just can’t seem to do it. Help me and tell me what you think. I won’t be offended and even if you say NO WAY…I still may do it.

Daddy Time

One of the BEST things in the world is seeing Seth and Abel play together. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see them together. They already wrestle around with each other. Abel just looks at Seth with just love and adoration. Abel and I love when 6:00 rolls around because Seth walks in the door and by that time Abel is ready to see a new face. He usually has the “5 o’clock fuss”, but boy does his attitude change when Seth comes home.

I love these 2 boys will ALL MY HEART!

Abel loves to steal Seth’s glasses. Just take a look.

“Dad, let me get those.”
20080309_001
“Almost got them.”
20080309_002
“These will fit me perfectly.”
20080309_004

One Saturday I walked into the living room to find Seth teaching our little boy how to play video games.

Of course, Abel had to get a taste of it too.
