Look who is a toddler now!

Abel’s hives (Lord Willing) look like they are almost gone. We have another appointment Monday morning just to make sure he is out of the woods. I will be so EXCITED when they are gone. I CANNOT stand seeing my baby in pain and I wish I could just take it from him. It feels like I am torturing him when I have to give him his medicine. I hate it! And I know all your moms out there know what I am taking about.

Thankfully, my mom has really helped me out these past few days. (Plus, he naps so much better for her.) I was starting to feel overwhelmed (you know those moments when you start thinking about how much you have to do and then it just snowballs and you start panicking-or is that just me?) I haven’t been able to get much done this week, but good old mom saved the day once again and has helped me out with my little man. Isn’t it amazing how much you can get done with some help! Soon, my anxiousness disappeared and I am almost feeling like I can conquer the world (almost).

I feel like I have been in a fog these past few days since he has been so sick. All my attention is focused on him and making sure he is as comfortable as possible. I really cannot wait to get back to our normal schedule. It really makes you remember how thankful we need to be for our health.

Thank God I have a loving husband who understand that and really helps me out. I have said this before, but I would not be the girl I am today with my amazing hubby standing behind me. I had a photo shoot this weekend (I absolutely love doing portraits, by the way) and if it wasn’t for Seth I would have not been able to do it. Anyway, enough sappy talk…you all just really want to see Abel photos.

Since I don’t want to share his rash photos to the whole world, I will show you some photos from before those evil hives came upon his precious, little body.

He pulls himself up on WHATEVER he can. (By the way, he stands up in his crib now and chews the wood-lovely, don’t ya think?) Why did I buy an expensive crib?
Note:
all new pregnant moms, don’t go buy expensive cribs. One day, I am going to post all the things you really DON’T need when having a baby.

Look how cute he is from the back. He gets into EVERYTHING now! 20080309_006

One of his new favorite things to do is French kiss the glass front door. 20080309_020

Isn’t that a great sight for neighbors driving by? If that doesn’t say, please come on in, then I don’t know what does.
