Watch out we got ourselves a video camera!

Ok, so if you know us you are probably like “Duh Julie, you and Seth video tape weddings all the time so of course you have a video camera.” Why, yes you are correct, however, it is a MONSTER camera. It weighs like 50lbs (I might be exaggerating some) and it is so complicated to transfer the video tapes onto the computer, which is why we never post videos of Abel because frankly we just don’t have the time to leisurely sit down and transfer them. We have WAY too much work we do at night. If you don’t know that about us, then you really just don’t know us. We are the King and Queen of doing jobs outside of our day jobs.

So, what did we do, we went and purchase a regular cheap video/camera like any other American would do….Seth (as usually) got some great deal b/c it was refurbished and surprisingly it actually does a fairly decent job at video taping.

We have yet to capture anything exciting and I’m slightly embarrassed to post this hideous video of myself. As usually, I am in my PJs that don’t match and no make up, but I am just so excited about our new little video camera. It is so small and can fit in my pocket. I’m just not used to having something this small. We have a huge camera that I have to carry in a backpack and a MASSIVE video camera that is carried in a case that looks like we have just stolen 1 million dollars from Las Vegas. No Joke!

(For anyone who cares, I got my hair cut today and I got longer bangs…not short bangs b/c my hairdresser thought I would never come back to her if I actually allowed her to give me bangs. I’m glad I trusted her. She did a great job.)

Please pay ALL ATTENTION to sweet Abel. Yes, he is this active ALL THE TIME!

All Boy

As Abel gets older, I see the little boy in him come out more and more each day. He is a ball of energy, loves to get dirty and is getting pretty daring (which scares his momma).

One of his favorite activities is to pull himself over the ottoman and tumble over it. He does it over and over again and each time I try not to panic. I can’t believe he is already doing things like this. I know this is just the start of his many daring adventures that are sure to give me mini heart attacks. Moms of boys: Don’t tell me your ER stories of how you had to rush junior to the hospital because of some daring activity he attempted that didn’t end well. I don’t need more to worry about. I already worry, but of course you faithful readers out there already know I am a worry wart.

So here he is in action. (Don’t you just love those Long Johns!)

Getting ready

Look at the height on those back legs!

Almost over

This is the last one I got. I didn’t get the crash landing since I panicked and hurried to make sure he was ok…and Thank God he was.

Just being cute

The other night Daddy Seth couldn’t resist taking a ton of pictures of our sweet guy. Abel, of course, was hamming it up for the camera.

If you know Seth, he squints when he laughs and it looks like Abel got that same gene too!

Don’t you love those teeth!

He is obsessed with buckles and straps and since Seth’s bag has lots of them, this is a favorite afternoon activity for Abel.

Another activity Abel LOVES is climbing the stairs. This is part of the reason why my baby weight is staying off…chasing him all day long.

Taking a break on the stairs to enjoy a little read.

I can’t get enough of his luscious lips!!!

Being still…this only lasted for a few seconds then it was off to tackle more stairs.

Does this face not scream “mischief”?
