You see Ava pictures all the time on this blog, but I realized Ava’s mama (also known as one of my best friends on this earth) and I haven’t had a picture of us taken together in forever. We get so caught up in the babies pictures that we forgot about ourselves.

We have known each other for 25+ years. We literally grew up together since we lived right across the street from each other. So you can only imagine our joy of being able to be pregnant at the same time. (And NO it was not planned. Abel was a surprise baby for those of you who didn’t know that.) We keep telling each other we have to be pregnant together again for the next one. It makes the pregnancy so much more bearable when you have someone close to you going through the same thing as you.

Me: Hey Linny, I’m having these weird pains on my right side
Linny: me too

Linny: I pee 3 times a night now and can’t sleep
Me: me too

Me: I have REALLY swollen ankles
Linny: me too

and so on and so on…..yada, yada, yada…If you are pregnant and don’t have a pregnant buddy, go find on.

And of course, it isn’t a visit without getting the kids pictures together.

Ava actually passed up Abel in weight. He use to be twice her size, but since Ava is too good for crawling she is packing it on and probably has the best baby thighs EVER!

Here they are as tiny infants: In this picture, Ava is 1 month and Abel is 2 months. My child was 13lb by 2 months. (Aww, I can’t believe how much they have grown. Makes me miss the tiny little infant stage…but not enough to have another just yet!)

She also could care less about Abel. She screams bloody murder if he even dare look at her.

Take Abel out of the picture and she is fine. She does, however, LOVE Seth. She lights up when he is in the room and gives him big smiles. She is a beauty, that is for sure.
