Let’s just say this wedding was one of the most gorgeous weddings I have ever attended. The ceremony was beautiful. Shauna and Gabe looked stunning and so in love and the backyard reception was over the top, elegant, romantic and just gorgeous. The weather was PERFECT! And when I say perfect, I mean, 75 degrees with a slight breeze. The Nickersons know how to throw a party. They thought of everything!

I didn’t get as many photos as I would have liked, but I was a bridesmaid and Seth was busy with family members and wrangling our toddler. Some of the photos you see are taken by other people. Thanks to our family and friends who helped us with the pictures.

I’m sure you are wondering who the ring bearer was…My sweet little man did such a great job! He made his momma proud. We weren’t sure if a 13 month old would actually sit in a wagon while the flowers girls pulled him down the aisle, but to everyone surprise, he did! He was amazed by all the people looking at him and loved getting pushed in the wagon. (Thanks to Noni’s daughter, Kerry, who took this picture.)

It was just the most adorable moment when they walked down the aisle. One of the cousins, Molly, tossed petals and the other cousin Lydia, pulled Abel in a wagon. Abel just watched the crowed in amazement. I was so worried he would try to jump out, but he didn’t. It was such a great moment!

Just a quick note so you don’t think I went postal.

We are in Mass. right now for Shauna and Gabe’s wedding.

It is going to be an gorgeous outdoor wedding in Seth’s parent’s backyard. Don’t worry, we will get lots and lots of pictures.

Wednesday of last week, Seth ask me “What are we doing for the 4th?” WHAT!! I couldn’t believe I forgot about July 4th. I love July 4th. It seemed like it just snuck up on us before we could make plans. (I mean, we can’t make huge plan since our son goes to bed at 7pm). But we called the ‘rents and sure enough they were planning a yummy BBQ.

Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed being with my family and stuffing my face. I will admit I got a little spoiled with how breastfeeding allowed me to eat whatever and whenever I wanted and I was still losing weight. (boy, do I miss those days). Not the case any longer. I am back to my old self. I just have to eat better (and less) and stick to my workout plan. A lot easier said then done, right ladies.

I was hoping my arms would be toner for my sister in-law’s wedding which is THIS SATURDAY!!!! (YAY!!! SHAUNA & GABE!!! Abel will have a NEW UNCLE by the weekend). But as my mom likes to tell me, it is in the genes and once the “Prush (my mom’s maiden name) arms swell up after pregnancy, they don’t go back. Isn’t that encouraging.

Of course, we don’t let a holiday go by without taking a ton of family photos. My family is slightly crazy about photos and we spend like an hour trying to get the kids to pose for us.
