Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for Tyler Wilkerson’s family. I know they appreciate all your prayers. Please also pray for Manny, Tyler’s best friend, who was driving that night. He was not injured, but needs your prayers as you can imagine.
I’m finding it hard to blog these last few days. You’ll be lucky if you get a post a week out of me in the upcoming weeks. My son decided he is too cool for naps and isn’t taking ANY. At least today he didn’t and I’m about to go in the crazy house. I love him dearly, but I need a BREAK from him. I think he is trying to transition to just one nap, but he can’t figure it out and instead of two naps he is doing NONE!!! And you moms all know how difficult the transition is….NOT PRETTY! I was getting so spoiled with his two naps. Of course, just when you get into a routine they decide it is time for a change. He is also punishing me for leaving him for a few days and wants to make sure all my time is spent watching him push his cars around and making sure I am doing nothing else. (Can you tell I am edgy tonight?)
I’m also struggling to manage two home based business when I am chasing a toddler who DOESN’T sleep.
I’ll be fine. We just both have to get used to a new schedule. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later. Every once and awhile I have to vent, right? Enough whining for me. I will push on.
Onto a happy note, our romantic getaway was fabulous! Getting away with my hot hubby was just what the doctor ordered.
Of course, we only got one terrible photo of us together. The only problem with our professional camera is that when we ask people to take our pictures with it (that is if they are willing to hold it and take on the challenge) we end up getting blurry, no good photos. Oh well, this is the best we got.

Our room was called “The Herb Room” which meant we had a view of the garden and this flower just happen to be at its peak bloom. Just gorgeous!

Some other great shots from Seth.

A close up of an ant. Isn’t that cool!

Not too much of a hiker, but I try.

Thankfully, after our hike we treated ourselves to Roman Baths and massages. (Berkeley Springs is known for its Roman Baths. You can’t go to Berkeley Springs without getting a Roman Bath.)
I was in love with this door. We would pass it a few times a day.

Seth, aren’t you having so much fun with me?

That’s better.

And this was too funny not to get a picture of.
