Fall Festival 2008 was super fun, as always. The time goes by way too fast, but I must say we have one of the coolest churches. They spend all week decorating the place, have candy galore, more games then you can imagine and EVERYBODY goes all out on their costumes!

It is always slightly stressful trying to rally my crazy, Italian family to get the ONE group shot we need. Every year it is a MUST to get everybody together and take a picture, but why it is always so hard? Every year it is so difficult. (Why is the Colgate shining so brightly? Must be because I am the new & improved sparkling whitener.) hahaha!

Thankfully, we pulled it off, but it was kinda hilarious right before this pictures was taken. We were all suppose to meet at the “Harvest Photo Spot” at 7:30, but one person was missing so another person would go to look for the missing person and then the missing person would show up and then we lost the person who went looking for the missing photo! It was madness! But here we are all thrown together for our annual family photo.

You might be asking yourself how did we come up with being a toothbrush and toothpaste. If you are, it all happened about 3 weeks prior to Halloween. The super planner (me) was bugging the procrastinator (Seth) to help with costume ideas for this year. Seth is a HUGE procrastinator! I will, however, give him mad props because he does his all time best work under pressure. This is where we are SO SO different!! As usual, I was bugging him for ideas about what we should be for Halloween. To get me off his back, he blurted (totally joking) “how about a toothbrush and toothpaste”. But I took him seriously and we ran with it.

Sure enough, 2 days before Halloween we were trying to figure out how we were going to mount a huge toothbrush on top of Seth’s head. The genius in Seth came up with a brilliant idea (he will tell you the drive to the Festival was very uncomfortable).

It was WAY past Abel’s bedtime, but he THRIVES on people and activity so he was having the time of his life! Here he is taking bowling VERY seriously! Oh my goodness, I love this action shot of him! (I will say, we wanted Abel to top off our costumes by being a TOOTH, but we knew he would never go for it.)

However, once he was given a new car, the world stops and he was extremely focused on his car and nothing else matters at that moment.

Sadly, this was the only family photo we could get.
