Today we said goodbye to our kitty, Allister. He went to live with a super cool guy! We couldn’t have picked a better new owner. Seriously, this man was a God-send. He even emailed me when he got Allister to his house to let me know how he was doing. How sweet is that! I was sad when he left our house, but I know he will be so happy at his new home. I’m more sad for Abel. Abel LOVED Allister (he really loved to torture him too). But I know this was for the best. We have too many family members & friends allergic to him and it was becoming a big problem.
We took a few pictures before he left us. We will miss that folded ear!
Our last few moments with him. (wow, hello crows feet. Where did those come from? I guess 30 is looming…)
Abel being super handsome. He wore a tie to church today!

Bye-Bye Allister! The pictures were great. And love that tie. Abel is growing right before my eyes. Julie, I don’t think those are crow’s feet….I think it is the lighting!!!!!! You look wonderful….And beautiful!!!!!!

ohdearLORD: please dont let chad know there are baby ties out there in the land of baby gear. he was JUST ASKING if i could buy isaac some ties….and i couldn’t believe it. dead serious. my little stock broker in the making!!

I know your pain…it’s bitter sweet. We had to let our cat go to a new home when Jacob was a baby but it was because she was SO mean. We called her “church” (from the movie,Pet Semetary)…she was THAT mean to everyone except us and Jacob wasn’t considered one of us so out of fear for his safety we had to give her up. He is allergic to cats and dogs now. I have to admit that I love not cleaning up cat hair and all that goes with having one. Finding her a good home makes all the difference in dealing with it.
Those photos are just tooo cute! I love ties on little boys.

yeah jules, I think the “crow’s feet” are an optical illusion, because you look fabulous and you do NOT have them!!! My goodness.

and the tie, is KILLING ME. Oh I love it so much. preppy babies. the cutest.
