My time to blog these days is slim. Hopefully, January will slow down a bit and I can breathe a little easier. I’m really not complaining though, because I LOVE being busy with photography. Thanks everyone who has been giving me the opportunity to take your family pictures!

Just to give you a sneak peek at what my life has been filled with in the last few weeks, here is a glimpse of some of the great children & families I have got to work with.

For starters, a precious newborn. (Clayton, you are a DOLL baby and I love those checks!)

And this little one always makes me smile. She is so funny!

This little one has a crush on my Abel. I had to talk about Abel to get her to smile. (Abel thinks she is pretty cute too!)

And I LOVE this family! They were one of my first clients (over 4 years ago) and Janice should be on my pay roll with how much business she brings in for me. THANKS JANICE!

My baby is 18 months today.

I was hoping I would able to report the height and weight of my precious boy after his 18 month check-up, but my little bam-bam jumped his naked booty off the scale making it IMPOSSIBLE to get an accurate weight. So after NUMEROUS attempts, they decided it wasn’t worth it and said he looks super healthy and ACTIVE!!!

Dr. Sophie (Abel LOVES her and can say “Dr. Sophie”…she is our new, young doctor and just finished her residency) was SO IMPRESSED with how chatty our little man was.

One of his favorite things to do is color. We think he is super good at it, but then again we are his parents so what do you expect. (I am hoping he has his father’s artistic ability.)

I will forever be in love with his red lips and blue eyes. (wow, what is up with that nerdy middle part going on…haircut coming this weekend!)

He also is BRILLIANT with shapes and letters! He is VERY fascinated with letters and his favorite letter is “O”. Probably because his best friend is Owen. He can pick an “O” out from a mile away.

Pigging out on T-day!

Banging on the piano with his cousins. We had the privilege of having them play background music for us while we ate our Thanksgiving dinner. Good times!

You can’t really tell from this photo, but he had been asking to see Santa all week. My dad (his poppy) takes him out every Saturday morning for their “special outing”. I told my dad that Abel wanted to see Santa, so Poppy took him to see Santa.

The result….

Every parent needs a photos like this. I wish I could dig up the old photo of me on Santa’s lap. Just imagine a huge puff of curls on Abel’s head and that was what his mommy’ looked like back in the day.

(PS-how cute is this Santa! He has been our mall’s Santa for 15+ years…maybe more)
