It was SO NICE to get away and have some girl time with my “other family”. These ladies have been in my life for over 10 years and I am realizing that we will be together for life. (and that makes me so happy!) We have stuck it out (not like it has been hard) but I think we have something special.
It all started in college. We were separated one summer and one of us (now I don’t know who started it) had to tell us all something and instead of sending each of us an email, she sent it as one group email. And that was that! We still all “group email” almost every day! It has been a HUGE way of keeping in touch with all of us.
How many can say they have a solid set of girlfriends that all get along? (I know my Grandma in law-Tish does.) Seth’s Gram still gets together with her girlfriends and they party it up. I love looking at the pictures of their get togethers and hear her stories of how they played jokes on each other. I think to myself…that will be us…that is us. 10 years so far!
Thank God I was traveling with Allison or it would have been a really tough ride. We got stuck in TERRIBLE Delaware traffic, but low and behold we arrived at 2am and still partied it up with the other girls. I was so awake by that time and so excited to see them so I can’t even remember what time it was when we went to bed! I can’t remember the last time I stayed up that late…most likely it was with them the last time we got together.
So here are some pics of our GREAT WEEKEND together. I love you all so very much!

Cheating on the shower game! ha!

Sorry Chrissy, but I had to post this. You look miserable!!! (even though we know you weren’t)

Ally was all business with the game and actually won!

My Carebear, bouquet designer!

We call Chrissy “Monkey/Monk” and her mom got her MONKEY salt and pepper shakers! haha (Donna Marie in the background! aka Chrissy’s mom. Best NJ accent EVER!

And this picture cracks me up. The other side said “tonight”. So funny!

LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!
PS-My boys did fine without me! Although, after “we missed you”, Seth did say “please don’t do that again for a long time!” Not sure what a “long time” is, but they survived!
Thanks Shauna for popping in town on Friday and spending time with us before I left town!
