Tyler Berkeley’s newborn session

Tyler Berkeley is my newest nephew (well not by blood, but by my life long friend). I have to say, he was the best newborn! He NEVER made a peep and he slept the ENTIRE time. A photographer’s dream come true. Once I realized he didn’t even care that I was putting all sorts of funky hats on him I started getting more creative.

Tyler was born 5 weeks early, but is doing great. I’m so in love with this little man.

Enjoy!

Are you dying at these lips!

The hat he is wearing was made my Abel’s grandma and the blanket was made by Abel’s great grandma.

In the meantime…

I’m so excited to show you my newborn pics of Tyler, but you will have to wait just a little bit longer.

I just arrived home from Richmond and I am now packing up my fam for our FIRST camping trip with Abel!!! (I can’t believe I am actually doing this with a toddler!) Let’s face it, I am not the most outdoorsy girl you know and now I am camping with my toddler who has sleep issues!

Abel is a WILD CARD and it could and very well be disastrous and I am prepared for that, but it will also be lots of fun. We are going with our neighbors and they each have one toddler as well, so we are expecting it to be crazy! We know we will be making some good memories.

In the meantime, here is my ALL BOY kid. These were taken the other day and we had spent almost the entire day outside because it has been so gorgeous. As we were walking home around 5:30pm, I looked at my dirty boy (who had just fallen into a thorn bush) and knew I need to capture his cuteness yet again.

(an airplane was crossing over our heads) Check out those dirty socks!

He actually doesn’t look as dirty in these photos, but he was. See the dirt on his face?

Mosquito bites & thorn bush marks.

ps-I got 10 mosquito bites while trying to capture my dirty boy, but I think it was worth it.

If you don’t hear from me for awhile, I am out in the woods with my boys.

more later

I know I have been quiet this week, but I got lots coming up so you’ll hear more from me soon.

I’m off to Richmond for a night to finally meet TYLER BERKELEY (my lifelong friend’s new baby boy) and I can wait to get my hands on him and of course, take his newborn pictures.

If you are in the Richmond area and would like me to photograph your child and (or) family, please leave a comment or shoot me an email. I will be planning lots of trips down there in the upcoming months to visit my new nephew (yes, he is my nephew since Lindsay is like a sister to our family-known her for 25 + years!)

Gotta run!
