Three weddings down…one more to go this month!

What a crazy, but wonderful month this has been for us. I have witnessed one of my dearest friends marry her soul mate, watched my oldest sister tie the knot with the man of her dreams, and photographed an amazing couple’s (and now friends) wedding!

We have one more wedding to photograph tomorrow and then it is off to the OUTER BANKS for BEACH WEEK with my family. WOO-HOO!!! We love beach week with my crazy, Italian family! It will be MUCH NEEDED after this whirlwind month. I am not complaining at all. This month has been crazy busy, but I feel so blessed with everything that has happened and thank God He is allowing us to grow our photography business.

We are LOVING renting the Fisheye lens for a few weeks. I will be sad to see it go, but we do plan on buying it for our Fall weddings.

I haven’t posted Abel picks in over a week! what! Sadly, we have barely taken any photos of our TWO YEAR OLD this month. We did however used the new lens on him! haha! I think this photo is hilarious! This lens makes his front teeth look even bigger!

I have to have a little proud momma moment. My ripe 2 year old is almost pee trained on the potty!!!!! It all happened so fast and I had NO INTENTION of training his this early and definitely not this month. But about 2 weeks ago, we were eating lunch and he got up from his chair and said, “I have to go potty.”  He walked upstairs and peed in his potty seat! We were shocked!

He has only had a few accidents, but other than that he LOVES his underwear and is doing fantastic. Sure, I realize he could easily regress, but this is the ONE AREA in my child’s life that has been easy. So for now, I am just going to THANK GOD that it is all going so smoothly.

I have so many favorites from this wedding, that I am just going to post a slideshow and you can view all our favs that way. As I stated in my last post, Keryn & Jethro were a TRUE JOY to photograph! Their wedding was so much fun. Seth and I felt relaxed and we were really able to enjoy ourselves.

I am praising God for giving us the most perfect day on Sat. with Keryn & Jethro. The rain held off and we couldn’t have ask for a better couple! Keryn & Jerthro were one the sweetest, most laid back couple we have ever photographed. It was a true joy to photograph them! We had such a fantastic private session with them before they were married and I highly recommend it if you are getting married to considered seeing each other before the ceremony.

I can’t wait to show you more images from their gorgeous day, but right now I am going off just a few hours of sleep, dealing with a messy house a & crazy toddler, but I promise a huge slideshow is coming.

What can I say, their wedding day was absolutely perfect!!! I have NEVER seen my sister that happy as she was on June 12, 2009. It was a small, intimate service and everyone there was beyond excited for Alison & Graham.

We hired our dear friend & photography partner Allison Morgan. She took the bulk of the photos and Seth and I stepped in when we could.

And if you are wondering HOW we got Abel to walk down the aisle…look carefully, there is a cookie in each hand and one in his mouth. Once he looked up from his cookies and realized he was the center of attention, he was all smiles.
