Which means things are a bit crazy around here.
Needless to say, not too much time to blog. Abel and I have been enjoying each other this week. I only picked up one job this week because of the craziness and it is so nice to be able to just have lazy mornings, go to the park & spend afternoons at the pool.
The camera has been staying in the bag lately, maybe because I know we are going to probably take around 4,000 photos in the next 3 weeks. (And I’m really NOT joking!) Three weddings means LOTS of photos!
So for now, all I got are these ones taken a few weeks ago. They aren’t even that great, but Abel looks so cute. He was playing some ball game on the floor and every time he caught the ball he would shout, “I GOT IT!” and give a huge grin.

This weekend was spectacular!
I was LOVING just attending a wedding and NOT taking pictures, that sadly I don’t have ANY of the bride! Can you believe that? I actually can’t. I knew our good friends of Kellan Studios would do a fantastic job so we kept the camera in the bag most of the time.
I am stealing this first picture from my friend Christin’s blog.

(L to R: me, Bethanie, Allison N., Janell, Chrissy the Bride!, Allison M., Carolyn, Christin, Beth inĀ front) All LU grads!
It was beyond amazing to have all my close girlfriends together again! I’m truly blessed. How many can say they have this many close girlfriends from college? It’s a true gift!
Now for a TON of photos. When Kellan Studios updates their blog, I’ll send you over there so you can view their amazing work of Chrissy & Jay, but for now here is what we took.
I have known these two since my freshman year.

Weddings are always a great reminder of how BLESSED I am that I have this guy!

Chrissy was on her honeymoon so she is missing. ![]()

Somehow Allison was missing from this photo…don’t be mad Ally, we couldn’t find you so your good friend Julie E. stepped in to fill your place. ![]()

The lovely Christin.
The hubbies really were having a great time.

And a HUGE THANK YOU to my in-laws who so graciously traveled to NJ to watch their grandson. Abel had the time of his life in NJ.

That means EVERY weekend in June is a WEDDING! CRAZINESS!
We are hitting the road bright & early tomorrow morning to see my dear friend Chrissy marry Jay!

Photo courtesy of Kellan Studios. They will be photographing their wedding.
(Is it just me, or does he kinda look like my brother in-law, Andrew?)
Since my family is in the rush to finalize my sister’s wedding, they couldn’t keep Abel for the weekend. Thankfully, my in-laws are meeting us in NJ to watch Abel during Chrissy’s wedding. Which is a win-win for all of us. They get to see Abel, Abel gets to have a blast with his Papa & Grandma and Seth & I get to have a night out.
I cannot wait to see Chrissy & Jay tie the knot! These two are perfect for each other! Plus, I get to see all my LU girls and actually wear a dress to a wedding (since we aren’t shooting it) and dance with my hot hubby! It doesn’t get much better than that.
Then fast forward to next Friday, June 12. My sister & Graham tie the knot! Since we are unable to photograph the event (sure, we will still take LOTS of pictures) they hired our dear friend Allison Morgan to capture the event. Let’s just say I CANNOT wait to see my oldest sister marry the man of her dreams. I have been waiting my entire life for this!
Then fast forward to June 20! We are driving up to MA to photograph Keryn & Jethro’s wedding at a gorgeous old mansion in Mass. I’m so excited about this one! I met Keryn through Seth’s family. She is such a sweetheart and will be a delight to photograph. (We weren’t able to do their e-session since they live so far away.)
Finally, on June 27 is the wedding of Shelby & Chris. We met them through Seth’s boss. Yes, Seth’s boss is totally cool about the fact that Seth has another job as a photographer. Can’t beat that. A boss that gives you referrals! I had the pleasure of shooting their e-session a few months back and they were so easy and laid back. Their wedding will be at a gorgeous location outside in Fredericksburg, VA.
If you don’t hear from me much in June, you now know why!
Happy Wedding Month!
