Somehow today was very productive and it is only the afternoon. Lately, my pregnant self hasn’t been able to get too much accomplished in the morning. But today was different.
I was having the urge to bake (which is rare for me. I’m a cooker, not a baker) so I decided to jump on it and get my little man involved. We started out making Apple (fiber) muffins this morning. Preggers was craving muffins so, of course, I had to make them as soon as I got up. Food is very important in my world right now. (I’m not happy about it.)
If you know me, every year I make chocolate covered pretzels for friends & family. Abel has a love for chocolate pretzels so I decided to have him help me with the sprinkles. They definitely have an “Abel” touch all over them which makes them even more special. I love that he is old enough to help me bake. It was great having him by my side adding the sprinkles (and eating way too many).
So here’s to December! I hope you enjoy the season and take some time to make little memories out of the craziness that the holiday brings.
Happy December!

I love chocolate coved pretzels I never thought of making them????? I used to make carmel popcorn….OH did we love that. Isn’t it funny when you are “pg” that you have these desires for certain food????? I can tell that Abel loves those pretzels….I’m sure especially the chocolate part. He is so handsome. I can’t wait to see him again soon. Maybe Christmas???? Love you lots. I am very excited about the new little baby. God bless….Tish/Grandma

I have been busy this week and just catching up on your blog. Love seeing Abel busy in the kitchen helping Mom with baking and getting ready for Christmas. One of my favorite memories was making Christmas cookies with the kids, they had so much fun painting icing designs on the cutouts we made! Still praying for daily strength as you progress during this first trimester! Praise God for all His blessings!
