We're doing more organics too and it feels so good. I think companies are catching on that we really do want to put good things in our bodies so there is more offered out there at reasonable prices. I want to buy a cow someday. Well, not a live cow but you know what I mean. Are you all doing that? I commend you for the cloth diapering. They ARE much cuter than disposables.
Oh, I also wanted to tell you that I gave your photo web site to a few people in my OB's office. I gave them a few wallet pics from your shoot of Ava and they were just in love with them. Maybe they'll give you a call.

Good luck with cloths!! Enjoy testing them out. We love ours! Tony actually despises disposables for countless reasons. Did you get a diaper sprayer? If not, I highly recommend one.

Yay for cloth diapers! I think you will love it. We've found that even when we're using disposables we still dump the poop in the toilet and that's the same thing we do with our cloth ones, so it's no different to us in that regard. And these days there's no soaking needed -- you just throw the diapers in a dry pail and when it's full we put the whole thing in the washer. Let me know how you like Softbums!

Julie,

Cloth diapers sound good.....I'm sure you'll get a diaper pail and learn how to soak and so on. Disposable diapers were not even around when I had my kids. I always thought they were such a waste of money, but it was the way it was for the next generation.
Going green and organic sounds healthy and good for your whole family. I just make sure I wash the veggies and fruit real good before eating. And remember to pray and thank God for all that good food. And ask Him to bless it. (I know you do this anyway.) I hear the weather is awesome! Lots of the white stuff! Love, Tish/Grandma

Boy, does this bring back memories of my "cloth diaper days"! I did it because the disposable ones (almost 30 years ago) were lousy!! They leaked all the time! I spent more time changing Seth's little outfits and doing laundry that it seemed to make sense to go with cloth by the time I had Shauna.

I am glad they don't make them like they did. I hope it works out! And enjoy the savings!
