Half way there!

Friday morning is our 20 week sonogram! We would love to have your prayers this week that we would get a healthy report about our Baby Hope.

Everyone keeps asking “so when do you find out?” And honestly, all that goes through my head when I hear that question is “please dear God let our baby be healthy!” We will just be beyond THRILLED if we hear the word “healthy” boy or girl! Either one will fit great into our family. Of course, it is so exciting to find out the sex, but it is so different with this pregnancy. For the first 15 weeks or so, I would wake up and think “is the baby ok today?” It’s just hard coming off 2 miscarriages. You don’t forgot them. It’s harder to relax, to get excited. But finally, my mind was eased when I  started feeling movement every day. And let me tell you Baby Hope is possibly just as active as Abel was in the womb. (makes me a little nervous!) ha!

I’m clearly growing. Here I am at 19.5 weeks!

(Note: These pictures are being taken in our home office. We have finally started the process of changing it into a baby’s room. Note the desk in the background lying on its side.)

Half way there!

I know so much what you mean. Feeling the baby move is amazing and reassuring regarding miscarriage and then you become flooded with worries about health. It makes you insanely guarded…or it did to me. And then when you’re reassured about health, you start to worry about preterm labor. I worried until I had Ava safe in my arms. I’m praying the u/s eases all of your fears on Friday! And you’re looking good girl!

Yay! 20 weeks. I am praying, praying, praying for you guys. I can certainly relate to your fears of the pregnancy with each week. After my own two miscarriages, which were before I had a baby at all, I was excited, but cautious, and like Shannon, worried until I had the babies in my arms. I know that God will ease your fears, and I’m sure that feeling baby Hope move constantly is such a big reassurance as well!It seems like all is going well and you look great! See you soon and can’t wait to learn the big news later this week :) .

We continue to pray that God watches over this little one growing inside of you. He has great plans for this new life and what a blessing to carry this child until his/her birth into this world!

Thanks Abel for the lovely portraits of Grandma and Grandpa, we have them hanging in our kitchen!! You are a great artist! The boys say of course he is a great artist, he is “Son of Seth” :)

wow! half way there! we are so excited for you all! Know that we continue to pray for you and the baby! Hope everything else is going well too! Miss you all!

You are looking great! Can’t wait to hear. Shauna, Gabe and Ruby are here (and warm) and are doing wonderfully…..Love you all, Tish
