Our sweet girl was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 13. It was a very special day for us. A baby dedication is a way of promising that we will raise Sage in a godly home and that she is God’s child. Our greatest reward would be able to see Sage love the Lord with all her heart.
Since many of our church family didn’t know exactly why Sage is in a brace, our Pastor gave a brief story about Sage’s hip condition. He ask everyone to pray for her and then held Sage in his arms and ask the elders to come lay hands on her. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and God says in his word when two or more are gathered there is so much power in prayer. It was a powerful prayer and I could feel the Lord’s presence. (Remember 3 days later we got the awesome news that Sage is almost healed!)
Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
My whole family stood up with us. Even my brother in-law Graham is in the background with the guitar. Seth’s parents and brother, Nate, made the trip as well and we appreciate all our family being there to support us.
Our good friends Heather & Nick captured the event for us. Thanks guys!

Julie,
Thank you for the photos. Everyone looks so good. I am so happy that Paul, Brenda, and Nathan could be with you. Family is important! Your Mom, Dad, and sisters look wonderful. When is the baby due? And we all pray that Sage will love the Lord her God with all her mind, soul, strength and heart. Love you, Tish/grandma
