Seth & Julie Nickerson were married in August 2003. We started this blog when I was just a few weeks pregnant with our first child, in hopes that our family and friends would be able to stay connected to us. It was supposed to be a family blog where both Seth and I would post, but the “Chatty Cathy” in me took over and it became my blog.
Seth and I have always had a passion for photography, it was actually our first date many years ago. After getting many photography requests, Seth and I decided it was time to open up Nickerson Studios. We specialize in weddings and custom portrait photography.
My adoring husband Seth is one of the most talented designers you will ever met. He fascinates me daily with his genius mind, his love for art, his hunger for new technology, his eye for photography and most importantly his patience with me.
We are the very proud parents of Abel Anthony & Sage Everleigh. Abel was born on June 4, 2007 and our lives have never been the same. Abel is an absolute joy & delight and oh so WILD! When God was creating our Abel, He must have said “I’m giving this one lots of love & a wild side.” He is a little ham and if you start visiting this site be prepared to see lots of pictures of him. Sage Everleigh, born on June 26, 2010, is our miracle baby! After losing 2 babies and we thought we were almost losing her after the first sonogram showed no heartbeat. We clung to hope and God blessed us with our girl. We had no idea what our hearts and lives were missing. She is the sweetest, happiest, most content baby and is the perfect fit for our family.
We know our other 2 children are now resting in the arms of Jesus, Baby August & Baby Love. These two precious babies have made us stronger as a couple and individuals.
Some people might think I share too much about our life, but I enjoy blogging. Life can be stressful and we can get lost in the craziness that every new day brings. By blogging, I am able to find the humor in my life and not take for granted the many blessings that the Lord has given to me and my family.
