This past weekend was just amazing!

We stayed at the cutest little beach house in Ocean Grove, NJ. Chrissy’s hubby’s grandparents own it and they were gracious enough to let 6 crazy girls stay there. It doesn’t get much better than hanging around in your pjs with your best gals eating and talking the night away.

I love them all so much and it was just the perfect weekend.

My dear sweet Care Bear is moving to BOISE next week! I still can’t believe it! She was my roommate for 3 years and has always lived somewhat close to me so I am going to miss her SO MUCH! She is the cutest and single!

We gave her a little something to help her out in her new city.

PS-Chrissy, the one holding the card, is pregnant with baby girl Janie. We are due one week apart!!!

My boys did just fine without me. I never worried about them either!

Once a year I sneak away (sometimes twice) for a “Girl Fest” weekend and meet up with my 5 closet girlfriends from college. We made a pack in college that we were going to stick together no matter what and we have! Most people can’t believe how faithful our friendships have remained. Sure we have our differences and have each taken different paths, but we have all stayed very close. I know so much about these girls. We share our deepest thoughts with each other. It so amazing to have a group of women who you can trust. A group of women who you feel completely comfort with. I am so relaxed, confident and just plain happy when I am with all these girls. We started something about 10 years ago called the “email chain” where we are all on the same email. We email all the time…whether it be one liners or pages. We are all very much invested in each other lives. It has been a great way of keeping in touch with each other!

We are meeting up at the Jersey Beach this weekend and I can’t wait!!! Let the late nights and crazy fun begin!

This weekend was spectacular!

I was LOVING just attending a wedding and NOT taking pictures, that sadly I don’t have ANY of the bride! Can you believe that? I actually can’t. I knew our good friends of Kellan Studios would do a fantastic job so we kept the camera in the bag most of the time.

It was beyond amazing to have all my close girlfriends together again! I’m truly blessed. How many can say they have this many close girlfriends from college? It’s a true gift!

Weddings are always a great reminder of how BLESSED I am that I have this guy!

And a HUGE THANK YOU to my in-laws who so graciously traveled to NJ to watch their grandson. Abel had the time of his life in NJ.

This week I have been tearing my house apart trying to find some form of chocolate. I’ve turned the house upside down and I can’t seem to find any of the goods anywhere? I had to make hot chocolate the other night because I finished off the chocolate chips. Looks like I might have to do that again tonight.

I don’t buy sweets for 2 reasons:

1) Seth doesn’t eat sweets. What fun is it to eat chocolate alone when your husband is munching on an apple?

2) If I did buy it, I would eat it. ’nuff said.

I’m drowning in photo work (which is why the posts are lacking these days), but I must say I LOVE IT! I love being busy with doing what I love. (How cliche does that sound?) But its true. I love photographing people, especially the itty bitty ones. I’m so blessed to be given this opportunity! Thank You, Lord!

I’ve got a shoot tomorrow for a little guy that I have photographed since he was in his mommy’s tummy. Tomorrow we are doing his one year shoot. So excited to see him!

I also had the opportunity to photograph my dear friend Janice’s precious 1 year old, Charlotte. Charlotte has as much energy as Abel. Can you believe it? It is so true. She can easily keep up with the boys.
