My good friend Heather and I have been waiting for a warm day to get the kids outside and take some pictures. Last Friday was the perfect day! We definitely had to bride the boys with cookies and chocolate, but I will do anything to try and get a decent picture of my son. I know, I am a Professional, but I sure don’t feel “professional” when I am desperately trying to get my son to just give me a decent look for the camera. Owen and Heather were trying to make him laugh so the pictures of him laughing are only because Owen and/or Heather is doing something funny.
We’ll first start out with the boys. These two are the best of friends. Owen is only 6 months older than Abel, but he towers over him. Abel, however, thinks they are the same size. Oh, Abel. That boy does not lack in the confidence department.

Owen following directions, while Abel well…is being Abel.

While we were waiting for Sage to wake up, Levi just chewed on the grass. Yep, we turned around to find him munching on some organic greens. He sure is handsome!

A few of my boy….

The fake smile.

Sage finally decided to wake up and joined us for the party. Levi was not so sure about sharing a basket with Sage, but he did offer to lend his hand for a little snack for her.

Do you see the “point”? She does it all the time.

She just knows how to pose. What can I say. She is used to the camera. That statement about “the second child doesn’t have as many pictures as the first” is totally not true for Sage.

A babe in a basket!

We were quickly losing Levi so we hurried and did this next set which you saw a “teaser” from the last post. Ironically, you would think Levi was having the time of his life when really he was melting down in between shots. The kids are looking at Heather who was probably doing something really funny to get Levi to smile.

Almost losing it…

back to laughing. Clearly, his momma is funny.

Distracted by a beauty.

The meltdown…

This needs to be a postcard…

After lots of cookies and chocolate, we headed to the park for some sibling pictures. All the boys wanted to do was play at the park, but Heather and I desperately wanted a few pictures of the kids together. Here is the best I got.

The love these two have. Thank you, Jesus!

And this one is so typical. Abel strangling his sister so he can kiss her with all his might because he loves her so much!

Let’s just say after this shoot, Heather and I were exhausted and it truly felt like work.
Don’t think this is it either…I’ve got some more Sage love coming at you this weekend as my little darling will be 8 months old! Somebody please stop time!
