It’s true.

Seven years is how long I have been married to the man of my dreams!

Sadly, with all the chaos and craziness going on in our lives (good stuff) we kinda forgot about our anniversary. We got home really late last night after shooting a wedding and we did remember then and kissed each other and said “Happy Anniversary” at like 12:30am before dozing off to sleep. This morning as we rushing around trying to not be extremely late for church we both get text messages…low and behold, my mother in law sends us a “Happy Anniversary” text and reminded us how we had both forgotten. Ha!

I love you, babe, more than words could express. I wish I had the time to write a long post for my love for Seth, but currently I have a baby sleeping on my chest as I type this and one grumpy toddler begging me to get off the computer.

So to my Seth:
Life has taken us through many different twists & turns, ups & downs and I am so grateful you were the one by my side through all of it. Thank you for being the most adoring husband and loving me on my most awful days when I am not a pleasant girl to be around,. Thank you for taking care of us and providing for our little family. Thank you for being the most amazing daddy to our 2 beautiful children and thank you for being my faithful and brilliant business partner. I love you!

Every year my parents get a house right on the Sound and it is always just so beautiful and peaceful. This year we stayed at a different house, because the house we usually stay in was not available. Turns out we all like this new house better. When you would look out the windows, it appeared the house was floating on the water. Truly a wonderful place to stay.

I found this awesome basket in the beach house and knew I needed to put my little model in it and take some pictures of her. I really wanted to steal this basket, but the honest girl in me held back.

As always, we took way too many photos at the beach and I don’t have time to post them all. So, I am going to pick out a few and separate them into a few posts since this momma is struggling to find the time.

These 2 have a love/hate relationship and they carry on the most hilarious conversations.

There was at least a few of these scenes going on a few times a day from either of the toddlers.

You want to know something funny…I love going to the beach every year, but I don’t swim in the ocean. I can’t stand all the creepy crawly things, but my favorite part is visiting the beach after dinner right around sunset. It’s quiet and peaceful and it is when my family creates lots of memories. (yes, that’s Abel’s cute bum in the background.)

The annual grandkids shot. You wouldn’t know from this picture, but they were all having a BLAST at the beach. Wow, kids, is it that hard to smile for the camera?

UPDATE ON SAGE’S HIP:
If you are wondering wear Sage’s brace is, I take it off a few times a day to give her some stretch time or if I just want a picture without her brace. I’ve become a PRO at putting it on and off and can do it in less than a minute. And THANK YOU for all your prayers…THEY ARE WORKING! Today we got GREAT news that her hip has SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED! That was music to my ears. The sonogram Tech couldn’t believe the difference in just 2 weeks. PRAYERS!!! That is the difference, people! We see her surgeon on Friday to get a better idea of how much longer she will need to wear her brace, but it is looking like not too much longer! THANK YOU JESUS!!! And thank you everyone out there who is praying for our miracle girl!

We’re back from the Outer Banks and it was just wonderful!

Of course, we took tons of pictures, but I just don’t have the time right now to write a big long post. So, for now enjoy our kiddos loving the beach.
